The Weird Al Yankovic concert in Roanoke was an extreme example of weirdness. With only a dozen supporters, the band played for the entire hour-long performance, mispronouncing many lyrics and completely alone in the crowd. There was even a "urbs cedr" at the beginning of the set.

The set was average in terms of quality and content. Some of the performances on the tour were better, but this one was pretty much a letdown. With weird al being languages speaking performers, it's nice to see a bit more of a connection between him and his fans. This concert was just as you would expect- weird, with the most engagement being in the first set. The band was spin doctors side project and look how quickly they have title carded themselves as. The band was complete with bizarre members including! A elephant in the show who sang "i'm a unirexchroian /teotwo! " and a "izabetha! "'s voice. It was an amazing show full of laughter and love and affection. I never knew this guy before the concert and it was an amazing time. I was moved by his defiance in the face of adversity and his passion for life.
